General Notes
In 1959, whilst still working at The Sunday Times, Fleming was offered a 5 week all expenses paid trip around the world to write a series of travel articles (nice work if you can get it!). In 1960 he took his Ford Thunderbird for a driving trip around Europe. Thrilling Cities collects up the articles published in the newspaper with other material not used in the originals. It is a readable as any of the Bond novels.
