General Notes

Fleming’s non-fiction account of the diamond smuggling trade was not a good seller in hardback despite good reviews. This may be partly due to the book having being serialized in the Sunday Times, the dust jacket design is also less exciting than the other Cape editions. Because of this 1st editions are more common than second editions.
